This is a picture of children at Auschwitz. These children do not look as normal children should. They have no sign off happiness in there face. Being in the camps would deprive them of their childhood, they were forced to grow up. The things they saw no one should see, but even more so for a child. this reminds me of the part in Night when Ellie's family got split. It makes me wonder what may have happened to his sister.

This a picture of Auschwitz 1 and Auschwitz 2(Birkenau). Ellie and his father's barracks that they lived in was in Birkenau. This reminds me of the cold bunks and slim clothes that they were forced to sleep ion while they were in them. I imagine that sleep was nearly impossible to get. Sometimes bukns were filled with up too four people.

In this picture you can clearly see the hatred that the Germans diplayed upon the Jews. The Germans had put the Jewish people in a large ditch/hole, that they had just dug, and they began to fire at them. I think this picture is very memorable because it shows that even after great adversity such as this, the Jewish people did not lose faith, they just kept going forward.
